At Aesthetica Day Spa, we want to ensure that all our clients are completely aware of what happens during their chosen treatment. Here’s a few spa FAQs and tips for our clients so that they’re fully prepared prior to visiting our centre and have a relaxing experience that meets their expectations.
Are You Prepared for Your Spa Visit?
Prior to your arrival, we recommend you drink plenty of water because the sauna and many of our body treatments are effective when the body is hydrated. In case your session requires you to lie down, it is ideal to limit your food intake because heavy meats and bread can cause stomach and chest discomfort.
When to Arrive?
It is important to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This helps you enjoy a few moments to yourself while you enjoy a cuppa. It also prevents delays on subsequent appointments.
New Mother or Busy Father
All of us need some time to indulge ourselves to feel good, don’t we? However, it may pose a challenge if you’re a parent. At Aesthetica Day Spa, we do not have a crèche, but we can make arrangements to accommodate your needs. If you’re planning a moms-and-tots day, we can provide you with private access to our spa.
It’s Your Moment
Don’t let the ring of your cellphone disturb you or other clients. Please ensure to keep your phones off when you walk into our spa.
What to Wear?
At Aesthetica Day Spa, we don’t have specific attire. However, we’d like to make dress suggestions for:
Pedicure – Pants or bottoms that can be rolled up to the knee
Facial or body treatments – You’re provided with a towel wrap or a dressing gown. But there are clients who choose innerwear as their attire. Also, some female clients prefer wearing bathing suits.
We encourage male clients to wear leisure shorts, briefs or a bathing suit.
Keep the Fragrance Away
Our spa products have low fragrance content. Sometimes clients may have reactions to fragrance. To this end, we recommend you to refrain from wearing additional fragrance to your appointment.
Reserve Your Slot
While we may accommodate on-the-spot services, we recommend you make your reservation to ensure you benefit fully from our session.
Can’t Make It to Your Appointment?
If you’re unable to attend your treatment, we request you to let us know at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time. This allows us to provide our sessions to a client who may be on our waiting list.
Should you be running late for your appointment, we recommend you let us know as soon as possible so that we can modify our schedule and fulfill requirements of other clients who may be affected by the delay. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to check in and fill out a health history form. Arriving late will deprive you of precious minutes during your spa treatment. To avoid inconveniencing others, all treatments will end at the scheduled time.
Reservations and Cancellations
We recommend scheduling your spa appointments two weeks prior to your arrival for the widest selection of treatments and appointment times. A major credit card is necessary for packages to secure your appointment. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

WE, OF COURSE UNDERSTAND THAT SITUATIONS MAY ARISE, LEADING TO A CANCELLED APPOINTMENT. WE KINDLY REQUEST A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS NOTICE FOR CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FAILURE TO PROVIDE AN ADEQUATE NOTICE MAY RESULT IN A CANCELLATION FEE.
*PARTY BOOKINGS (3 PEOPLE +)
IF THE PARTY BOOKING IS CANCELLED WITH LESS THEN A WEEK’S NOTICE, 50% OF THE FULL COST OF THE PARTY BOOKING WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CREDIT CARD PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF THE BOOKING. IF THE PARTY BOOKING IS CANCELLED WITH LESS THEN 48 HOURS NOTICE, THE FULL COST WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CREDIT CARD PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF THE BOOKING.
*3-5 HOUR SERVICES/PACKAGES
RESERVATIONS OF 3-5 HOUR SERVICES REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS NOTICE FOR CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING. A DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED UPON BOOKING THAT WILL GO TOWARD THE COST OF YOUR SERVICES ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. FOR NO SHOWS, OR FOR CLIENTS THAT ARE UNFORTUNATELY LATE TO THEIR APPOINTMENT WHERE IT COULD RESULT IN A CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING FROM AESTHETICA, THE DEPOSIT WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Spa Attire
Most services are available to women and men. You may come in a casual or a more formal attire, but in between services, you are welcome to don an oversized robe and slippers. For your privacy during service, you will be professionally draped with linens. We have plenty of fresh spring water and herbal teas to drink.
Gratuities
Tipping is left to the discretion of our clients. Gift certificates do not include gratuities unless otherwise specified.
Lost or Stolen Articles
We regret that Aesthetica Day Spa cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of personal articles. We encourage all the clients to keep valuables with them all the time.
We gladly accept Wayspas. Some restrictions apply.
*Wayspas Cannot be used on packages, products, Laser /IPL treatments or promotions. Make sure to ask about our policy, before booking your appointment, to avoid any surprises the day of your service. Wayspas will not be accepted in the month of December.
