How Long Do We Need?

Depending on the amount of natural lashes you have, an eyelash extension session can last for about 60 to 90 minutes whereas infill treatments can range from 30 to 45 minutes. Your appointment will begin with a thorough examination of your natural lashes by our certified lash technician. We’ll then provide you with tailored extensions that are weightless, clump-free and will remain in good condition. Will Your Extensions Last Long Enough?

If your extensions are properly applied and maintained well, you can enjoy your lashes for more than 6 weeks. However, we recommend infill treatment every 2 to 3 weeks because your lash extension can diminish due to natural shedding and replenishing of your own lashes, thus creating gaps. The duration between appointments differs as it is dependent on lifestyle, aftercare, and the lifecycle of the natural lash when the extension is attached. When you visit Aesthetica Day Spa for your extensions, we’ll carefully select the lashes that are mature enough to have extensions attached. During an infill treatment, we’ll replace the extension that may have fallen with your natural lash. This is essential to keep your lashes looking beautiful.

Extensions Are Suitable for Sensitive Eyes

Your extensions will not touch your skin in anyway thus reducing the chances of an allergic reaction. Also, we ensure to use glues that use little to no fumes and are known for their quick drying time. To ensure your lashes do not have an adverse effect, we recommend:

Visiting your lash artist with clean eyes that are free of oils and makeup
Lash tinting to be done 48 hours prior to your lash extension
Air brush tanning should be done 24 hours prior to your lash extension appointment
Keeping your lash extensions completely dry for 24 hours after every application and avoiding activities such as swimming, showers and steam bath. This allows the glue to adhere to your natural lashes.
Seeing a lash technician if in case you want to remove your lashes because trying to remove them on your own can cause breakage
Letting your lash technician know if you have any eye condition that could affect the outcome of your extensions, or any skin allergies or sensitivities
